I am interested in the evolution of olfaction in vertebrates. My current research focus on the morpho-anatomical aspects of olfactory related structures (turbinates, turbinals, cribriform plate, olfactory bulb … ) of rodents, shrews, moles, and tenrecs.

Using X-ray microtomography (X-ray µCT, CT scan) and quantitative comparative methods, I investigate morphological convergence driven by dietary (herbivore, omnivore, and carnivore) and habitat (terrestrial, fossorial, and aquatic).

I am also a wildlife photographer specialized in reptiles, amphibians and small mammals. My photos were awarded in several international contest including the Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
